No band has influenced pop culture the way the Beatles have. They were one of the best things to happen in the twentieth century, let alone the Sixties. They were youth personified. They were unmatched innovators who were bigger than both Jesus and rock & roll itself: During the week of April 4, 1964, the Beatles held the first five slots on the Billboard Singles chart; they went on to sell more than a billion records; and 2000’s 1, a compilation of the Beatles Number One hits, hit Number One in 35 countries and went on to become the best-selling album of the 2000s.

Mr. Brainwash is a French street artist and videographer known for his large-scale installations and prints of celebrities like Madonna, Kate Moss, and Marilyn Monroe. His practice of subverting cultural iconography and appropriation borrows from Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Bansky. Fellow street artist Alec Monopoly has said that he considers Mr. Brainwash a mentor.

Description

Mr. Brainwash, Bandidos (The Beatles) is an original Mixed Media on Paper with Stenciling, Acrylic Painting, Spray Painting, Collage and light varnish finish. Mr. Brainwash Bandidos is a one-of-a-kind original artwork featuring the iconic images of The Beatles. With Mr. Brainwash’s special signature on verso with dollar bill sequence and comes with official Mr. Brainwash certificate of authenticity.

Mr. Brainwash Bandidos is an hommage to the Beatles from the artist..

Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta) is a French street artist and videographer known for his large-scale installations and prints of celebrities like Madonna, Kate Moss, and Marilyn Monroe. His practice of subverting cultural iconography and appropriation borrows from Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Bansky.

Guetta’s uniformly subversive style fuses historic pop imagery and contemporary cultural iconography to create his version of a pop–graffiti art hybrid first popularized by other street artists. Working primarily with layers of screenprint and stenciled images, his compositions are emblematic of a graffiti wall inundated with 20th century iconography. He is both sly and playful in his juxtaposition of the cultural idols of the past (Einstein, Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe) with the icons of today (Kate Moss, Madonna). The vibrant palette and imitation of pop artists like Andy Warhol and Keith Haring add a puckish wink. To add to his intentionally derivative persona, Guetta uses a special signature and authentication on all of his artworks. All unique MBW artworks have his mantra “Life Is Beautiful”, his thumbprint, hand-signature, and assigned dollar bill number sequence
